Backstitching isn’t my most favorite part of stitching. My favorite part is the middle where you can see a lot of progress, but you know that you still have quite a bit left to do.

So when I realized that I had to start backstitching the leaves on this cross… I found other things to do. Then I decided that I had to make myself sit down and work on it. If I didn’t, then it would forever stay at this stage. We can’t let that happen!

You can’t really tell in this picture, but I’ve completely outlined the bottom poinsettia, and most of the right hand side of the cross. I am currently working my way around the bottom. The silly thing is that once I really started on this I loved seeing the leaves start to pop out, so then it was like I couldn’t stop! I guess that I’m just never happy!
