Howdy! If you’re reading this then somehow you managed to trip across my humble little blog out here in the vast cosmos of Cyberspace. Congratulations! Not everybody is so lucky!
I originally started my blog in order to share my thoughts and the various things that I was doing with my group of friends. This group is scattered across the United States and everybody wanted to see pictures. I thought this would be a great way to keep them all posted and entertained in my own special way.
My blog is exactly what it says… Kerry’d Away. It is full of the randomness that makes up my life. I have so many different interests that trying to limit myself to a certain topic on which to post is asking way too much. I love history (most especially the Civil War), humor, cats, cross stitching, music, and the various projects that my husband is working on at the time. I should also mention that I’m a Gemini, so I am easily bored. That’s why one day I might post about updates that I’ve done around my house and the next day I’m showing off my husband’s beautiful handiwork. I could post about my latest cross stitch project one night, and the next night I will want to share a humorous story regarding my family. I might even toss in the occasional piece of original fiction tied to pictures that I have taken.
If you are looking for continuity or a one topic blog, then this is not it. The only constant thing is that I’m the one who writes the blog posts. That’s it. Oh, and yes, there will be a LOT of bragging about my husband because he is wonderful and I love him to pieces. That goes with the Kerry’d Away territory.
Please excuse any grammatical or spelling errors. I am a Cost Accountant so I’m much better with numbers. 😉 Give me an adding machine and I will show you a dazzling display of finger dexterity, the likes of which you’ve never seen. It won’t be perfect, but it will be dazzling!
My only goal with keeping this blog is to entertain people, or at least make them think. Yes, they might be thinking, “What in the world is that woman on??!!” but at least they are thinking! lol In this world of constant stimulation it’s good to give the TV translating neural transmitters a rest and dust off the ones used for original thought. So sit back, relax, and enjoy!
Hi there.
I managed to catch your blog when I was searching info on a plane I just bought. I read with great interest your posts on Jays A-4 build. I now have the same one and I have a few questions. Would it be possible for Jay to contact me so I could gain a little further insight into this kit. I would greatly appreciate any info he might have on it. Thanks for your help and great work on the blog.

Thank you for the kind words! I have given your email address to Jay so hopefully you should be seeing something from him soon!
Hello! I have been searching for a cross stitch pattern of the A-10 for my mom. My brother is an A-10 pilot and she was searching for the sky warrior series pattern that is out of print. (She did 3 others from that series when my brother was little). Your A10 project looked similar to that series pattern. Is it? Do you still have the pattern? If so, I would love to purchase it from you or if you know where to purchase it. Thank you so much for any help you can provide. This has been a many-year quest!
Lara- Thank you for your comment! I have sent a separate email to you so please let me know if you don’t receive it. Thanks!
I wish that we did, but unfortunately we don’t. We didn’t get that far in detailing the layout before we packed it away. Sorry!
