It’s been a while since I’ve posted pictures of my WIP. Mainly because I’ve been working on adding the blending filament to the angel’s wing. What a pain that stuff is to work with! The blending filament part is finished, though, so now I just have to do the detail back stitching.

You can kind of see the sparkly blending filament on the left wing. I can’t wait until this one is done. 🙂
I thought that I would post pictures of my mom’s latest quilt, too. It’s a Queen and she’s not sure what she’s going to do with it. It’s called a Scrappy Irish Chain:
Here’s the detail of the quilted area in the cream centers:
My mom did the fancy quilting part in the middle on her quilting frame with her machine. The straight lines going through the blocks, though, were done with her regular machine on the dining room table. My dad made a special leaf for the table so that my mom could put her sewing machine in it and use the table to hold the quilt:
As you can see, Bissell is supervising. You can never have enough eyes looking at your work! 😉
