I have been so busy sewing dresses that I didn’t have a lot of time to cross stitch.

I had just finished the lettering in the background when I took a picture of this on Feb 1st.

And this is what it looks like with most of the outlining done on the left hand side of the cross. There are still some details left to do, but I wanted to move onto the next part. I was tired of backstitching.

I have to admit that this is one of my favorite parts of cross stitching. The first picture in this post looks really good and you can tell what it’s supposed to be, but the backstitching in the second picture just really makes it pop!
