Angel Square Finished!

Well, I did it! I finally finished my Angel Square! Woo-hoo! Here she is:

I wish that you could see her in person. She is quite stunning. I also took this picture at work under the florescent lights instead of natural lighting. I’m going to blame part of the underwhelming results of this picture on that. Since I spent so much time on the blending filament portion of the wings, though, and it really does add a lot, I wanted to show you a better picture of what it does.

In this picture you can see the sparkle on the wing. That is what the blending filament does. This particular color was just a clear opalescent so that you can use it with any color of floss and get that sparkle. It really is gorgeous in person. Even my boyfriend was impressed. šŸ™‚ I have now started on my second quilt square which will be a tabby cat playing with a ball of yarn. Stay tuned for progress pics.
