The news lately has had me down. Between the 2nd Amendment being under fire and then the stories about flag-stomping in high school it’s just sad. Am I one of the few patriotic people left? I know that I’m not. I know that there are a LOT of people who feel the same way that I do about my country and my flag. I would like to share a couple of songs that always gives me chills and choke me up when I hear them.

The first one, and most favorite, is Lee Greenwoods, “God Bless the U.S.A.”

The second song that gives me goosebumps is by Johnny Cash “Ragged Old Flag”
