A Cross Stitched Wedding Sampler

This pattern is called Love With A Capital ‘L’. I stitched this years ago because I fell in love with it and knew that I wanted to use it for my marriage sampler. This was stitched on evenweave using HDF silk floss. If you’ve never stitched with silk, it’s amazing! I love that stuff, though I hear that Vikkie is no longer going to be dying the embroidery floss anymore.

As soon as Jay and I have an official date I’m going to finish filling this in. I get to add his ‘J’ to the empty box near the top (my ‘K’ is already in the box on the right). Then our last name will go in that giant empty box in the middle, and 2012 will go in the little box above the bottom ‘LOVE’. Isn’t this gorgeous? I can’t wait to get it finished and framed. šŸ™‚
